Product Description

CERES Pressure Reducing Valve with solenoidcontrol is hydraulically operated, diaphragmactuated control valve that reduces higherupstream pressure to lower constant down-stream pressure and opens fully upon linepressure drop.This model valve either opensor shuts in response to an electric signal.

 HOW IT WORKS
The Shuttle Valve [1] connects theSolenoid Valve [2] or the PressureReducing Pilot [3] to the ControlChamber [4] . When the SolenoidValve is closed, the Pressure ReducingPilot commands the Valve to throttleclosed should Downstream Pressure [ p27 rise above setting and modulate to open when it dropsbelow settinq.The solenoid valve is switched by electric signal control, the pipe pressure is guided intothe control chamber through the shuttle valve, and the pressure in the control chamber increasesprompting the valve to close. The Solenoid Valve enables manual closing.
